Hello, my name is Justice Miller, the owner and trainer at Millertime Colt Starting and Horse Training. Horses have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, and over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with some well-known breeders and trainers who have helped shape my approach to horsemanship.

       I take pride in developing horses the right way—building their confidence and understanding from the ground up. My training philosophy is centered around patience, consistency, and clear communication. I believe in working slow and efficiently, allowing each horse, especially colts, to fully grasp what I’m asking before moving forward. Rushing the process only creates confusion; taking the time to build a solid foundation sets them up for long-term success.

       One of my favorite parts of training is seeing the transformation—watching a young or inexperienced horse develop into a well-rounded, willing partner. There’s nothing more rewarding than handing the reins over to an owner and seeing their excitement and appreciation for the time and effort I’ve put into their horse. Every horse is different, and I enjoy the challenge of figuring out what each one needs to thrive.

       At Millertime Colt Starting and Horse Training, my goal is to produce horses that are confident, responsive, and prepared for whatever discipline they’ll go into. Whether I’m starting a colt, putting miles on a green horse, or fine-tuning an older one, my focus is always on creating a horse that’s solid, reliable, and enjoyable to ride.
